Description
The SYVRAC tubular screw conveyors provide a robust and versatile mechanical conveying solution for powders, granules, and fragile products. They ensure consistent transport without product degradation and integrate seamlessly into existing production lines.
The operating principle is based on a welded helical screw mounted on a central shaft, driven by a gear motor located at one end. The product is gradually conveyed inside a closed tube, ensuring contained transfer with no dust emission.
SYVRAC offers tubular screw conveyors made from materials tailored to each industry: 304L/316L stainless steel for food, pharmaceutical, or chemical environments, or painted steel for standard industrial applications.
Thanks to the Clean+ system, the screws are designed for tool-free quick disassembly, providing full access for cleaning and maintenance — ideal for frequent product changeovers.
The integration of intermediate bearings allows for long conveying distances without performance loss. Various standard diameters and lengths are available, and each conveyor can be custom-configured according to the product characteristics, required flow rates, and installation constraints.
1 • Welded helical screw
The screw, welded onto the central shaft, ensures a smooth and uniform transfer of the product without any risk of segregation. Different screw designs (solid, ribbon, notched) are available depending on the nature and flowability of the powders.
2 • Tubular screw
The closed tube ensures perfect product containment while eliminating dust emissions. The tubes are made of polished 304L or 316L stainless steel for hygienic applications, or carbon steel for industrial use.
3 • Direct or indirect drive
The drive system can be configured in pull or push mode. Power transmission can be direct via a gear motor or indirect through a chain or belt, depending on the required torque and screw length.
4 • End bearing & sealing system
Sealing at the shaft/bearing interface is ensured by specialized rings, preventing any product leakage and guaranteeing process safety.
5 • Hygienic quick-release system
The quick-release system allows the tube to be removed without tools for a complete and fast cleaning, reducing downtime during product changeovers.
