Centrifugal sifter for pneumatic conveying systems
The SYVRAC SV2 single rotary sifter ensures the health and functional safety of powders during pneumatic transfer. Positioned in line, it removes lumps, fibres, metal or plastic pieces before mixing, dosing, silo loading or packaging. Very compact and simple in design, it can be easily integrated at the silo outlet or truck unloading point. This sieve does not reject any material, so its easy-open hatch must be opened to empty everything that has been stopped by the screens.

Description
The SV2 SYVRAC rotary sieve is a simple and compact product safety solution, designed to be integrated directly onto pneumatic transfer pipes, in suction or pressure mode. It provides continuous in-line screening without interrupting the flow, while ensuring good system tightness.
This screen is positioned on a pneumatic transfer system:
- At the silo outlet
- At the truck unloading station outlet
- Positioned on any transfer line, for example between a buffer hopper and a mixer
The rotating blades, driven by an electric motor (EU or US versions), rotate at a constant speed. Fine particles pass through the stainless steel screen, while agglomerates or contaminants remain in the sorting chamber awaiting cleaning by the operator. The sorting chamber is easily accessible by opening the removable cover, without dismantling the line. A safety sensor blocks the motor from starting when the door is open to ensure high process safety.

The SV2 sieve can be used in many food industry applications where health and safety are critical. It is compatible with:
- Wheat flour, rice, maize
- Icing sugar, granulated sugar
- Cocoa, powdered milk, flavourings
- Yeast, nutritional premixes
- Ground spices, starches, fruit powders
Its hygienic design (food grade version with FDA seals) allows it to be used in food or feed environments where compliance with food standards is critical..
2 • Chemicals and technical powders
In the chemical industry, the SYVRAC rotary sifter is essential for protecting downstream equipment and processes. It is used in particular for:
- Silicas, metal oxides, mineral fillers
- Technical polymers, PVC, powder resins
- Pigments, catalysts, waxes
- All abrasive powders, industrial additives
ATEX versions are available for zone 22, with an option for reinforced sealing at the motor shaft
3 • Screening: ensuring the safety of powder lines
In-line safety screening is an essential step in all industrial processes involving powders. It enables:
- The removal of foreign bodies (fibres, pieces of bags, screws, lumps, clumps)
- Protect sensitive equipment (mixers, dosing machines, screws, bagging machines)
- Prevent quality non-conformities in production
