Description

SYVRAC has a dedicated engineering department specializing in the design of powder and bulk handling processes for the food industry. Each project is tailor-made according to our clients’ sanitary, logistical, and economic constraints. We design and integrate complete production lines for dairy products, infant nutrition, bakery, confectionery, pet food, instant beverages, and dietary supplements.
We handle the integration of SYVRAC equipment (big bag discharging, silos, conveying, dosing, mixing, bagging…) as well as specialized partner equipment (sieves, mills, special mixers, final packaging units, palletizing, CIP systems…).

Raw-materials-receiving

1 • Raw material reception

SYVRAC integrates big bag unloading stations, ergonomic and enclosed sack tipping stations with integrated dust extraction. Silos are filled via pneumatic or mechanical truck unloading systems, ensuring operator safety, zero dust emission, and immediate traceability from the moment raw materials are received.

2 • Hygienic and safe storage

Syvrac, an expert in bulk and powder storage, offers flexible silos made of food-grade fabric. The 304L/316L stainless steel or food-grade polyester silos are designed with no retention zones, polished surfaces, inspection hatches, low-pressure fluidization, and integrated weighing systems. Our solutions ensure the stability of raw materials sensitive to humidity and cross-contamination.

3 • Controlled powder transfer

SYVRAC selects the optimal transfer technologies according to the nature of the powders:

  • Pneumatic conveying in dense or dilute phase (ideal for infant nutrition, premixes, or micronized powders)
  • Confined mechanical conveying using screw conveyors or tubular chain conveyors (for granules, seeds, and fragile products)
  • Aeromechanical conveying for simple and free-flowing products

4 • Gravimetric dosing and powder mixing

Syvrac offers turnkey dosing and mixing systems. These units are the heart of the process, enabling the formulation of recipes from raw materials or ingredients.
Gravimetric feeders come in several types. Screw feeders use a dosing screw system to meter ingredients precisely. A buffer hopper enables gravimetric dosing, and refilling is done during hidden time. Vibratory feeders, driven by an electromagnetic vibrating module, are ideal for creating vibrating dosing channels — especially suitable for fragile or difficult products. These systems achieve high precision, accurate to the gram for micro-ingredients.
Powder and bulk mixers also come in different types. Batch ploughshare or paddle mixers have a cylindrical shape and achieve intense mixing within 2 to 5 minutes, ensuring excellent homogeneity. Optional choppers prevent agglomeration when injecting liquids, oils, or essential oils. Ribbon or paddle mixers operate at lower speeds, offering gentler mixing over 15 to 30 minutes per batch. These trough mixers allow the product to move freely during mixing. All our mixers are available in capacities ranging from 100 to 5,000 liters.

5 • Final packaging and bagging

Our production lines integrate automatic bagging machines (paper, PE, or big bags), palletizers, and stretch wrappers. Marking, labeling, and traceability systems ensure full compliance with the specifications required by major retailers and export regulations.
