Description
Flying insects — particularly Asian hornets — pose a growing risk to agri-food sites equipped with outdoor silos. During decompression phases, these insects can be sucked into the safety valve and then trapped inside the silo, leading to product contamination and production stoppages.
The HORNET’PROTECT cover acts as a physical barrier around the valve: a 4.5 mm stainless steel mesh prevents insects from entering without hindering the air exchange necessary for the silo’s vacuum.
Its simple and robust design allows for quick installation on existing valves without structural modification.
