The SYVRAC Orthophthalic Rigid Silos are designed for the outdoor storage of powdery or granular products under optimal economic conditions. They represent a perfectly suitable alternative for industries seeking a reliable solution without the extreme chemical resistance required for isophthalic silos.
Structure & Materials
Manufactured from orthophthalic polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass, these silos are molded in a single block without welds, ensuring leak-tight storage and long service life. An exterior gel coat provides protection against UV rays and weather conditions.

Technical Features
Orthophthalic resin provides sufficient resistance for chemically mild products at an optimized manufacturing cost. This type of silo should be favored when the chemical constraints do not require the use of isophthalic or vinyl ester resin.

Thanks to their lightweight design compared to steel silos, orthophthalic silos are easy to transport and quick to install. They are directly installed on concrete pads, with or without a support structure.
Full Customization
Each silo is custom-designed according to the nature of the stored product, discharge flow rates, available height, and site constraints. Options for fluidization, dust removal, weighing, and ATEX safety systems can be integrated as needed for the process.
1 • One-piece Orthophthalic Resin Shell
The silo body is made of orthophthalic resin reinforced with fiberglass, ensuring high rigidity and perfect leak-tightness without welding. Its lightweight design makes on-site installation easier.
2 • Anti-UV Exterior Treatment
The exterior gel coat applied to the shell protects the structure against aging caused by UV rays and weather conditions, ensuring a lifespan of over 25 years in outdoor environments.
3 • Secured Filling Dome
The dome is equipped with a pneumatic filling inlet, pressure relief valves, dust filtration systems, and access hatches for inspection.
4 • High-Slope Conical Bottom
The 60° discharge cone promotes gravity flow even for low-flowability powders. Fluidization systems can be added for materials prone to clogging.
5 • Galvanized Metal Supports
The silo rests on a galvanized steel structure designed according to Eurocode standards to ensure stability and resistance to wind and seismic loads.
