Description
SYVRAC aluminum silos represent a cost-effective and efficient solution for storing powders and granules, offering a lower cost than stainless steel silos while meeting food-grade requirements. Although less dense than stainless steel, aluminum provides good resistance to weather and industrial environments, making it suitable for outdoor storage.
Its main advantages lie in its low cost and light weight, which reduce the load on support structures and simplify installation logistics. Being inert, aluminum prevents chemical contamination and is perfectly suited for the food, chemical, and plastics industries.
Thanks to its naturally oxidized and protective surface, it requires no additional anti-corrosion treatment and offers long-lasting durability, though slightly lower than stainless steel in highly aggressive environments.
SYVRAC aluminum silos are available in various configurations: on legs, with skirt, or with specific support structures. SYVRAC aluminum silos are suitable for storing food products thanks to their inert material, naturally protected by an oxide layer. Unlike other solutions, aluminum requires no additional coatings and ensures no migration of substances into the stored materials. Easy to clean due to their smooth and durable surface, they comply with food standards (CE 1935/2004, FDA).
