Their vertical cylindrical structure, combined with a conical bottom ranging from 15° to 60°, ensures smooth product flow and minimizes the risk of clogging. Their custom design, based on a standard foundation, allows perfect integration into industrial environments. Numerous options—integrated weighing, filtration systems, and explosion protection devices—make them adaptable to any client requirements. Standard finishes in cold-rolled steel with polished welds guarantee impeccable cleanliness in compliance with current food industry standards. Easy Cleaning
Cleaning stainless steel silos is simplified thanks to the nature of the material and solutions tailored to industrial requirements. Their smooth and resistant surface allows various cleaning methods — mechanical brushing, vacuuming, or deep cleaning using a hot water high-pressure washer, complemented by a dehumidifier to prevent microbial growth. These methods ensure optimal cleanliness without extended production downtime while complying with hygiene standards in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Silo System Supervision
The industrial silo supervision system developed by SYVRAC enables real-time control of storage, transfer, and dosing operations for raw materials. It allows continuous monitoring of fill levels, environmental conditions (temperature, humidity), and equipment status. The integration of connected sensors and SCADA software facilitates centralized management, optimizing supply planning and reducing losses.
Batch tracking and traceability solutions make it possible to precisely identify the origin and destination of products, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, ATEX). Safety and ATEX Compliance
SYVRAC stainless steel silos are designed to ensure maximum safety in explosive (ATEX) environments. The handling and storage of powders and granules present explosion risks, which is why our silos are equipped with prevention and protection devices such as explosion relief panels, flame arrestors, and explosion suppression systems. To limit the accumulation of electrostatic charges, they can be grounded and fitted with electrical continuity connections. In particular, internal conductivity bars prevent corona discharges, ensuring operation in full compliance with ATEX standards.
Discharge
SYVRAC offers several extraction technologies adapted to the different types of powders stored in its stainless steel silos. For compact powders or those sensitive to humidity, the use of air cannons helps to fluidize the material and improve its flow. Vibrating bottoms are an ideal solution to activate the flow of difficult products and prevent any build-up inside the silo. The vibro-fluidizer injects pressurized air to ensure continuous and smooth discharge. Finally, rotary valves or screw conveyors are used to guarantee precise dosing and optimal control of the discharge rate. These various solutions make it possible to adapt extraction to the specific characteristics of each stored product.
Options and Customization
